Trick-or-treaters swarm the streets

Ghosts and goblins took over the streets of Woodfin and Weaverville Monday for trick-or-treating on a warm autumn North Carolina evening. While the majority of trick-or-treaters were pint-sized, several grownups took a trip back to childhood for the spooky holiday. A few pets were even adorned and pulled along for the occasion. Still, the looming presidential election wasn’t far from the minds of some. One seven-year-old girl from Woodfin dressed with half her outfit and face colored in red and half colored in blue, along with a T-shirt reading, “Swing State.”
